AND SERVICES; TO REQUIRE CERTAIN EMPLOYERS TO DISPLAY 11 
THE POSTER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 12

SERVICES; AND TO REQUIRE CERTAIN 18 
EMPLOYERS TO DISPLAY THE POSTER. 19

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 21 
 22 
 SECTION 1.  Arkansas Code Title 11, Chapter 2, Subchapter 1, is amended 23 
to add an additional section to read as follows: 24 
 11-2-126.  Posting of veterans' benefits and services. 25 
 (a)(1)  The Department of Labor and Licensing, in consultation with the 26 
Department of Veterans Affairs, shall create and distribute a veterans' 27 
benefits and services poster to employers. 28 
 (2)  The poster created under subdivision (a)(1) of this section 29 
shall include without limitation the following information: 30 
 (A)  Contact and website information for the Department of 31 
Veterans Affairs programs and services; 32 
 (B)  Substance abuse and mental health treatment options; 33 
 (C)  Educational, workforce, and training resources; 34 
 (D)  Tax benefits; 35 
 (E)  The availability of a veteran's designation on a 36    	SB497

driver's license or an identification card; 1 
 (F)  Eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits under 2 
state and federal law; 3 
 (G)  Legal services; and 4 
 (H)  Contact information for the United States Department 5 
of Veterans Affairs Veterans Crisis Line. 6 
 (b)  An employer in the state with fifty (50) or more full -time 7 
equivalent employees shall display the poster created under this section in a 8 
conspicuous place accessible to employees in the employer's workplace. 9
