BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 19

SECTION 1. Arkansas Code ยง 20 -77-148(b)(1), concerning the 21
requirements for coverage of a continuous glucose monitor, is amended to read 22
as follows: 23
(1) Either: 24
(A) A presence of type 1 diabetes or any other type of 25
diabetes with: 26
(i) The use of insulin more than two (2) times daily 27
in accordance with Medicare policy ; or 28
(ii) Evidence of Level 2 or Level 3 hypoglycemia; or 29
(B) Diagnosis of glycogen storage disease type 1a; and 30
