AN AMENDMENT TO THE ARKANSAS CONSTITUTION CONCERNING 9 
THE VOTE REQUIREMENTS FOR INITIATED ACTS AND 10 
CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED APPROVED 11 
AT THE GENERAL ELECTION. 12

Subtitle 15 
A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT CONCERNING 16 
THE VOTE REQUIREMENTS FOR INITIATED ACTS 17 
AND CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS TO BE 18 
CONSIDERED APPROVED AT THE GENERAL 19 
ELECTION. 20

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 22 
STATE OF ARKANSAS, AND BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, A MAJORITY OF ALL 23 
MEMBERS ELECTED TO EACH HOUSE AGREEING THERETO: 24

 THAT the following is proposed as an amendment to the Constitution of 26 
the State of Arkansas, and upon being submitted to the electors of the state 27 
for approval or rejection at the next general election for Representatives 28 
and Senators, if a majority of the electors voting thereon at the election 29 
adopt the amendment, the amendment shall become a part of the Constitution of 30 
the State of Arkansas, to wit: 31

 SECTION 1.  The purpose of this joint resolution is to amend the 33 
Arkansas Constitution concerning the vote requirements for initiated acts and 34 
constitutional amendments to be considered approved at the general election.   35
