LIFE DAY AND TO RECOGNIZE THE 16
ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF CERTAIN EMERGENCY 17
MEDICAL SERVICES PROFESSIONALS. 18

WHEREAS, emergency medical services are a vital public service; and 20
21
WHEREAS, the members of emergency medical services teams are ready to 22
provide lifesaving care to those in need twenty -four (24) hours a day, seven 23
(7) days a week; and 24
25
WHEREAS, the members of emergency medical services teams, whether 26
career or volunteer, often go beyond the call of duty to carry out lifesaving 27
measures and to promote the causes of the ambulance industry; and 28

WHEREAS, it is appropriate to recognize the value and the 30
accomplishments of selected individuals who epitomize the spirit of emergency 31
medical services, 32

NOW THEREFORE, 34
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY -FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE 35

THAT the Senate proclaim March 12, 2025, as Stars of Life Day and, in 2
honor thereof, recognize the individuals presented as Arkansas EMS Stars of 3
Life. 4

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 6
presented to each Arkansas EMS Star of Life by the Secretary of the Senate. 7
