Overview
Limits the amount of dues a city or town may pay to a membership organization.
Provisions
1. Caps the amount of dues that a municipality may pay to a membership organization to an
amount not greater than the municipality's total population multiplied by the per capita
membership amount paid by the most populous municipality that is also a member of the
membership organization. (Sec. 1)
2. Defines membership organization as an organization whose paid membership is composed,
by majority, of cities and towns. (Sec. 1)
3. Defines per capita membership as the total membership dues paid to the membership
organization by the city or town divided by its total population. (Sec. 1)
