AN ACT

 

Amending section 25-318.02, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to COMMUNITY property.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Section 25-318.02, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read: START_STATUTE25-318.02. Convicted spouse; award of community property; definition A. In an action described in section 25-318, subsection A, the court shall not award any community property to a convicted spouse. B. If one spouse is required to make ongoing installment payments to a convicted spouse pursuant to a division of property as described in section 25-318, the spouse making the installment payments may petition the court for a modification of to modify or cancel that ongoing payment. C. For the purposes of this section, "convicted spouse" means a person who is convicted of an offense and who is sentenced to at least eighty years in prison or to life in prison, with or without the possibility of parole. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Section 25-318.02, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
