AN ACT

 

amending Title 16, chapter 1, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 16-143; relating to registration officers and procedures.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 16, chapter 1, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-143, to read: START_STATUTE16-143. Disclosure; third-party election mailings A. any nongovernmental person or entity that mails or sends by ELECTRONIC or digital means or provides an electronic or digital link to an official election-related document from the county recorder or county officer in charge of elections or the secretary of state, including a voter registration application or an early ballot request, shall include the words "Not From a Government Agency". In boldfaced, clearly legible print on the outside of the envelope or prominently placed in the electronic or digital message.  B. For an electronic or digital delivery, the disclosure shall be clearly readable. For a delivery by mail or by hand, the disclosure shall be displayed in a height that is at least ten percent of the vertical height of the document. END_STATUTE
