AN ACT

 

amending title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 16-410.01; relating to the conduct of elections.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-410.01, to read: START_STATUTE16-410.01. Election contractors; liability for damages; violation; classification A. Notwithstanding any other law, a contractor that enters into a contract with this state or any county to provide election-related equipment or services and that fails to perform its obligations under the terms of the contract is liable for liquidated damages in an amount equivalent to the amount paid under the terms of the contract. B. A Contractor that fails to perform its obligations as prescribed by subsection A of this section is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor. END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-410.01, to read:

A.
