History The purpose of the Department of Health Services (DHS) is to provide public health support, community health services and program planning. These programs may include epidemiology and disease control, health education and training, prevention and early detection of an intellectual disability and health information (A.R.S. § 36-104). Provisions 1. Appropriates $500,000 from the GF for DHS to distribute to a nonprofit organization for a Campaign about Alzheimer's disease and dementia in rural and underserved urban areas.
