amending title 40, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 40-850; appropriating monies; relating to the corporation commission.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 40, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 40-850, to read: START_STATUTE40-850. Annual safety inspections; railroads The corporation commission shall conduct annual safety inspections of all railroads and railroad tracks in this state. END_STATUTE Sec. 2. Appropriation; corporation commission The sum of $196,000 and two FTE positions are appropriated in fiscal year 2023-2024 from the state general fund to the corporation commission for railroad safety inspectors.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 40, chapter 4, article 3, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 40-850, to read:
START_STATUTE40-850. Annual safety inspections; railroads
The corporation commission shall conduct annual safety inspections of all railroads and railroad tracks in this state. END_STATUTE
Sec. 2. Appropriation; corporation commission
The sum of $196,000 and two FTE positions are appropriated in fiscal year 2023-2024 from the state general fund to the corporation commission for railroad safety inspectors.
