(TEXT OF BILL BEGINS ON NEXT PAGE) Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriation; governor's office on tribal relations; Cove chapter; infrastructure; exemption A. The sum of $350,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2023-2024 to the governor's office on tribal relations to distribute to the Navajo Nation for planning, designing and constructing the following Cove chapter infrastructure projects: 1. Community developments. 2. Veterans' housing. 3. Broadband internet. 4. Water and wastewater projects. B. The appropriation made in subsection A of this section is exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
