An Act

 

amending title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 15-701.04; relating to instruction.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-701.04, to read: START_STATUTE15-701.04. School districts; instructional time; instructional hours; subject requirements Beginning July 1, 2024, notwithstanding any other law, a school district shall use at least eighty percent of instructional time or instructional hours each school year to provide instruction in the areas of reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. END_STATUTE Sec. 2. Short title This act may be cited as the "Back to Basics for Student Success Act". 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 15, chapter 7, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-701.04, to read:

START_STATUTE15-701.04. School districts; instructional time; instructional hours; subject requirements

Sec. 2. Short title

This act may be cited as the "Back to Basics for Student Success Act".
