amending title 45, chapter 2, article 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 45-581; relating to groundwater management.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 45, chapter 2, article 9, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 45-581, to read: START_STATUTE45-581. Groundwater model; unpledged long-term storage credits the director shall ensure that any HYDRAULIC modeling the DEPARTMENT uses to determine projected GROUNDWATER levels for the purposes of EVALUATING an application for a CERTIFICATE or DESIGNATION of assured water supply ASSUMES any long-term storage credits not pledged to a current water user or application will be AVAILABLE for use.END_STATUTE
