amending title 28, chapter 20, article 11, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 28-7317; relating to the Arizona highways magazine.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 28, chapter 20, article 11, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 28-7317, to read: START_STATUTE28-7317. Arizona highways magazine privatization A. Notwithstanding any other law, the department may sell the Arizona highways magazine to a private entity. The department shall solicit bids before selling the magazine. The private entity must pay an annual fee to the department in an amount to be determined by the department. B. The private entity that owns the magazine must publish the magazine monthly or the magazine transfers back to the department. This requirement applies to any private owner of the magazine. C. If the private entity owner wants to sell the magazine, the department has the first right to purchase the magazine. END_STATUTE
