Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding chapter 9, to read: CHAPTER 9 PROHIBITED USE OF PUBLIC MONIES ARTICLE 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS START_STATUTE1-901. Prohibited use of public monies; diversity, equity and inclusion; political or social activism The following may not use any public monies to promote, support or maintain diversity, equity and inclusion or to engage in POLITICAL or social activism: 1. This state. 2. A university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona board of regents. 3. A community college as defined in section 15-1401. 4. A county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state. END_STATUTE

The following may not use any public monies to promote, support or maintain diversity, equity and inclusion or to engage in POLITICAL or social activism:
1. This state.
2. A university under the jurisdiction of the Arizona board of regents.
3. A community college as defined in section 15-1401.
4. A county, city, town or other political subdivision of this state. END_STATUTE
