Overview 
Instructs candidate committees for statewide candidates to file campaign finance reports 
during each calendar quarter comprising the forty-eight-month period before the general 
election.  
History 
A candidate committee is required to file campaign finance reports during the four calendar 
quarters preceding the general election at which the candidate is seeking election. A calendar 
quarter is the period of three consecutive calendar months ending on March 31, June 30, 
September 30 or December 31 (A.R.S. §§ 16-901, 16-927). 
Provisions 
1. Requires candidate committees for statewide candidates to file campaign finance reports 
during each calendar quarter comprising the forty-eight-month period before the general 
election for the office the candidate is seeking election. (Sec. 1) 
2. Contains an emergency clause.
