multiple listing service; required information 
Purpose 
Requires a multiple listing service (MLS) used to sell or rent Arizona dwellings to include 
outlined information about listed dwellings. 
Background 
The Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) protects the public interest through 
licensure and regulation of the real estate profession in Arizona. ADRE, under direction of the 
Real Estate Commissioner, is responsible for: 1) licensing and regulating real estate, cemetery and 
membership camping salespersons and brokers; 2) investigating complaints from the public and 
licensees regarding real estate transactions; 3) ensuring enforcement of real estate statutes and 
rules; 4) providing proper educational material to guide and assist the public and licensees;  
5) issues public reports for timeshares, subdivisions and unsubdivided land; and 6) inspects 
brokers’ records and transactions to ensure compliance with statutory requirements (A.R.S. Title 
32, Chapter 20). 
Statute outlines trade and commerce practices in general and for particular industries and 
transactions, including practices that are deemed unlawful (A.R.S. Title 44). 
There is no anticipated fiscal impact to the state General Fund associated with this 
legislation.  
Provisions 
1. Requires an MLS that is used for selling or renting dwellings located in Arizona to include the 
following information about a listed dwelling: 
a) the congressional district; 
b) the legislative district; 
c) the county supervisor district; 
d) the city council ward or district; and 
e) the voting precinct. 
2. Becomes effective on the general effective date.
