Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-434.02, to read: START_STATUTE36-434.02. Inpatient hospital services; clozapine; treatment-resistant schizophrenia A hospital that provides inpatient hospital services shall have clozapine available for patients who have treatment-resistant schizophrenia. The hospital shall follow the risk evaluation and mitigation strategies associated with clozapine and maintain treatment without requiring excessive patient testing.END_STATUTE
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 36, chapter 4, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-434.02, to read:
START_STATUTE36-434.02. Inpatient hospital services; clozapine; treatment-resistant schizophrenia
A hospital that provides inpatient hospital services shall have clozapine available for patients who have treatment-resistant schizophrenia. The hospital shall follow the risk evaluation and mitigation strategies associated with clozapine and maintain treatment without requiring excessive patient testing.END_STATUTE
