(TEXT OF BILL BEGINS ON NEXT PAGE) Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-407.04, to read: START_STATUTE16-407.04. Sovereign authority; elections; state law; federal offices Pursuant to the SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY of this state and article II, section 3, Constitution of Arizona, all elections that are held in this state for federal offices shall be conducted as prescribed by the election statutes of this state and in the same manner as ELECTIONS that are held in this state for state and local officers, including the statutes regarding voter registration, proof of citizenship, proof of residency and proof of identification for registration and voting. END_STATUTE Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 16, chapter 4, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 16-407.04, to read: START_STATUTE16-407.04.
