AN ACT
Amending title 41, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 41-334; relating to notaries.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 41, chapter 2, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 41-334, to read: START_STATUTE41-334. Notarial services; notarial acts; businesses; definition A. IF an entity DOES NOT PROVIDE an OPTION TO NOTARIZE DOCUMENTS AT A PHYSICAL LOCATION WITHOUT CHARGE OR COST, INDIVIDUALS SEEKING NOTARIZATION MAY use THE SERVICES OF ANY NOTARIAL OFFICER WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM THE NOTARIAL ACT PURSUANT TO THE LAWS OF THE NOTARIAL OFFICER'S COMMISSIONING STATE. B. For the purposes of this section, "Entity": 1. Has the same meaning PRESCRIBED in section 10-140. 2. Includes a business organization THAT MAINTAINS A PHYSICAL LOCATION IN THIS STATE FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT INTERACTION WITH CUSTOMERS. END_STATUTE

A. IF an entity DOES NOT PROVIDE an OPTION TO NOTARIZE DOCUMENTS AT A PHYSICAL LOCATION WITHOUT CHARGE OR COST, INDIVIDUALS SEEKING NOTARIZATION MAY use THE SERVICES OF ANY NOTARIAL OFFICER WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM THE NOTARIAL ACT PURSUANT TO THE LAWS OF THE NOTARIAL OFFICER'S COMMISSIONING STATE.
B. For the purposes of this section, "Entity":
