AN ACT

 

appropriating monies to the department of economic security.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Appropriations; department of economic security; child care assistance; exemption A. The sum of $120,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of economic security for child care assistance. B. The sum of $91,000,000 is appropriated from the federal child care and development fund monies that constitute the quality set-aside monies as defined in section 46-805, Arizona Revised Statutes, in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of economic security for child care assistance. C. The appropriations made in subsections A and B of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations. 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

A. The sum of $120,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of economic security for child care assistance.

B. The sum of $91,000,000 is appropriated from the federal child care and development fund monies that constitute the quality set-aside monies as defined in section 46-805, Arizona Revised Statutes, in fiscal year 2025-2026 to the department of economic security for child care assistance.

C. The appropriations made in subsections A and B of this section are exempt from the provisions of section 35-190, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to lapsing of appropriations.
