AN ACT

 

amending title 20, chapter 6, article 7, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 20-1511; relating to fire insurance.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 20, chapter 6, article 7, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-1511, to read: START_STATUTE20-1511. State of emergency; fire insurance; cancellation prohibition If the governor declares a state of emergency as prescribed in section 26-303 after a natural disaster or wildfire, an insurance producer may not cancel or refuse to renew, for the next twenty-four months, a fire insurance policy with an insured who resides or that is located within a five mile radius of the natural disaster or wildfire. END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 20, chapter 6, article 7, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 20-1511, to read:

START_STATUTE20-1511. State of emergency; fire insurance; cancellation prohibition
