AN ACT

 

Amending section 28-650, Arizona Revised Statutes; Relating to construction sites.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Section 28-650, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read: START_STATUTE28-650. Warning devices; volunteer retired police officers; construction sites A person, contractor or political subdivision that is performing work on roads, streets or highways:  1. Shall post and maintain warning signs, signals, markers and barricades that are in compliance with the manual and specifications prescribed in section 28-641. These warning signs, signals, markers or barricades shall be maintained at the work site to warn those that are using the street, road or highway until the work is completed or until such time as the governing body authorizes removal. 2. May use volunteer retired police officers to maintain a visible police presence. END_STATUTE  

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Section 28-650, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
