AN ACT

 

amending title 8, chapter 4, article 4, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 8-530.08; amending title 15, chapter 1, article 5, arizona revised statutes, by adding section 15-160.03; relating to child welfare.

 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona: Section 1. Title 8, chapter 4, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-530.08, to read: START_STATUTE8-530.08. DCS case worker; school visit; identification requirement When a department caseworker visits a child who is in the care, custody and control of the department at the child's school, the caseworker shall present both of the following forms of identification: 1. The caseworker's department identification. 2. The caseworker's valid driver license or valid nonoperating identification license. END_STATUTE Sec. 2. Title 15, chapter 1, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-160.03, to read: START_STATUTE15-160.03. Department of child safety caseworker; school visit; identification requirement When a department of child safety caseworker visits a child who is in the care, custody and control of the department of child safety at the child's school, the school shall require that the caseworker present both of the following forms of identification: 1. The caseworker's department of child safety identification. 2. The caseworker's valid driver license or valid nonoperating identification license. END_STATUTE 

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1. Title 8, chapter 4, article 4, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 8-530.08, to read:

START_STATUTE8-530.08. DCS case worker; school visit; identification requirement

When a department caseworker visits a child who is in the care, custody and control of the department at the child's school, the caseworker shall present both of the following forms of identification:

1. The caseworker's department identification.

2. The caseworker's valid driver license or valid nonoperating identification license. END_STATUTE

Sec. 2. Title 15, chapter 1, article 5, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 15-160.03, to read:

START_STATUTE15-160.03. Department of child safety caseworker; school visit; identification requirement

When a department of child safety caseworker visits a child who is in the care, custody and control of the department of child safety at the child's school, the school shall require that the caseworker present both of the following forms of identification:

1. The caseworker's department of child safety identification.

2. The caseworker's valid driver license or valid nonoperating identification license. END_STATUTE
