Existing law requires the Department of Justice to maintain a statewide telecommunications system of communication for the use of law enforcement agencies. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 15152 of the Government Code is amended to read: 15152. The Department of Justice shall maintain a statewide telecommunications system  of communication  for the use of law enforcement agencies.
