Childhood and adolescent diabetes. Existing law authorizes the State Department of Public Health to perform studies, demonstrate innovative methods, and disseminate information relating to the protection, preservation, and advancement of public health. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would reduce the incidence of childhood and adolescent diabetes in California. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no.
