Section 2000 of the Business and Professions Code is amended to read: 2000. This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Medical Practice Act. Wheneveraany reference is made to the Medical Practice Act by the provisions of any statute, it is to be construed as referring to the provisions of this chapter.
