The Board of Administration of the Public Employees' Retirement system is required, upon application by a public agency, as defined, to execute an agreement with the federal government for the coverage of the public employees of the agency under the federal Social Security Act in conformity with specified regulations. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no.
