Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 932 is added to the Military and Veterans Code, to read: 932. (a) The governing board of any county or city may grant financial assistance, relief, and support to disabled veterans by waiving service-related fees, including, but not limited to, building and inspection fees, charged by the county or city. (b) For purposes of this section, "disabled veterans" has the same meaning as defined in Section 999.
