LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 2259, as introduced, Ammiano. Subdivision Map Act. Existing law, the Subdivision Map Act, provides that the procedures set forth in that act govern the processing, approval, conditional approval or disapproval and filing of tentative, final, and parcel maps and the modification thereof, and specifies that local ordinances may modify these procedures, as specified. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 66451 of the Government Code is amended to read: 66451. The procedures set forth in this chapter shall govern the processing, approval, conditional approval or disapproval and filing of tentative, final and parcel maps and the modification thereof. Local ordinances may modify  such   these  procedures to the extent authorized by this chapter.
