Energy: energy efficient materials: incentives. Existing law establishes various programs administered by the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission or the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority to provide financial assistance for the development and deployment of alternative energy and renewable energy technologies. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation providing for incentives for the purchase of energy efficient materials manufactured in California. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation providing for incentives for the purchase of energy efficient materials manufactured in California.
