Existing law also requires the apportionment of money among the school districts and community college districts in which potash leases or deposits are situated in the proportion that the total amount of rents, royalties, and other payments bears to the total amount paid to the United States from leases or deposits in all school districts and community college districts. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes in the provision related to the apportionment of funds derived from potash leases or deposits. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no.
