 BILL NUMBER: SB 1288INTRODUCED BILL TEXT INTRODUCED BY Senator Harman FEBRUARY 23, 2012 An act to amend Section 3037 of the Fish and Game Code, relating to fish and wildlife resources. LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 1288, as introduced, Harman. Hunting licenses. Under existing law, a hunting license authorizes the person to whom it is issued to take birds and mammals, in accordance with law, for a term of one year from July 1 to June 30, or, if issued after the beginning of that term, for the remainder of the term. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to that provision. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 3037 of the Fish and Game Code is amended to read: 3037. A hunting license authorizes the person to whom it is issued to take birds and mammals, in accordance with law, for a term of one year from July  1st   1  to June  30th   30  , or, if issued after the beginning of  such   that  term, for the remainder of the term.
