Income taxes: federal conformity: Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The Personal Income Tax Law, in specified conformity with federal income tax law, provides certain gross income exclusions, imposes specified tax rates, and allows various deductions and credits in computing the income that is subject to the taxes imposed by that law, as specified. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to conform the Personal Income Tax Law to provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to conform the Personal Income Tax Law to provisions of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
