LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 2268, as introduced, Santiago. Outdoor advertising. The Outdoor Advertising Act provides for the regulation by the Department of Transportation of certain outdoor advertising displays along highways. Existing law authorizes the California Transportation Commission to allocate sufficient funds from the State Highway Account in the State Transportation Fund that are available for capital outlay purposes to match federal funds that are made available for removal of outdoor advertising displays.
