LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST AB 2834, as introduced, Low. State Oral Health Program. Existing law requires the State Department of Public Health to maintain a dental program, as specified, and requires the department to appoint a dentist licensed in California to administer the program. This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to a provision of the program. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 104755 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read: 104755. The director shall appoint a dentist licensed in  the State  of  California to administer the dental program.
