Transportation. Existing law provides various funding sources for transportation services and capital improvement projects by local entities. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to require the Alameda County Transportation Commission to explore the feasibility of a multimodal station in Fremont at a location that can be served both by trains of the Bay Area Rapid Transit system and the Altamont Commuter Express, and to require the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority to explore expansion of light rail service to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no. State-mandated local program: no. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1.
