Existing law repeals the provisions establishing the board and the boards authority to appoint an executive officer on January 1, 2018.This bill would provide that the repeal of the provisions regarding the operation of the board and the boards authority to appoint an executive officer render the successor entity to the board subject to review by the appropriate policy committees of the Legislature.
