The bill would require the agency to report the identified criteria to the Legislature on or before June 30, 2018.Existing law provides for the regulation of certified farmers markets and authorizes the Secretary of Food and Agriculture to adopt regulations to encourage the direct sale by farmers to the public of all types of California agricultural products.Existing law requires, with the approval of the state agency concerned, the Director of General Services to negotiate in the name of the state, access to state-owned property, not used for highway or high-speed rail purposes, for those purposes and subject to those conditions, limitations, restrictions, and reservations determined by the director to be in the best interest of the state. Existing law requires the director to determine the amount of consideration for, and means of, access.
