This bill would require a school district to work with the schools of the school district to identify the most appropriate methods of informing parents and guardians of human trafficking prevention resources and to implement the identified methods by an unspecified date. By imposing additional requirements on school districts, the bill would impose a state-mandated local program.The California Constitution requires the state to reimburse local agencies and school districts for certain costs mandated by the state.
