In creating this position, it is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would provide the Governor with a resource to interact with all of the professional entities that play a role in the housing market and to advise the Governor on policy in order to have a more clear and unified approach to meet the housing needs of all Californians.SEC. 2.
