California State University Contract Law.The California State University Contract Law provides for the construction of public works by the Trustees of the California State University. Provisions of that law relating to performance authorize the trustees, if they deem that a contractor has failed to prosecute the work with the diligence and force specified by the contract, after specified written notice to the contractor, to provide labor or materials and deduct the cost from money due under the contract or, if the trustees consider that the failure is sufficient ground, to give written notice to the contractor and the contractors sureties that if the defaults are not remedied the contractors control over the work will be terminated.
