The (a) The State Department of Developmental Services shall offer, through the regional centers, in conjunction with community colleges which that elect to participate, a Direct Support Professionals (DSP) training program, which is a uniform statewide training program for directors or licensees of residential facilities serving persons with developmental disabilities. The training program shall be at the college level, and shall be given for college credits.(a) The department shall offer the DSP training program courses in all threshold languages, as defined by paragraph (3) of subdivision (a) of Section 1810.410 of Title 9 of the California Code of Regulations.
