Fiscal Impact:
Sunset bill - No fiscal impact. The bill sunsets the Strategic Action Planning Group
on Aging. The bill does not impact state and local revenue and expenditures, and has
been assessed as having no fiscal impact.

Summary of Legislation
The bill sunsets the Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging, which is scheduled to repeal on
September 1, 2022, and makes conforming changes to statute.
Assessment of No Fiscal Impact
Under current law, the Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging is scheduled to repeal on
September 1, 2022. Because the bill does not extend the committee and only make conforming changes
in statute, the bill will not impact state and local government revenue and expenditures. For this
reason, it has been assessed as having no fiscal impact. For informational purposes, the committee

Effective Date
The bill takes effect 90 days following adjournment of the General Assembly sine die, assuming no
referendum petition is filed.
