The bill authorizes History Colorado to sell three properties.  It increase state revenue 
and minimally increases state workload in FY 2023-24.

Fiscal Note 
Status: 
The fiscal note reflects the introduced bill, as recommended by the Capital 
Development Committee. 
Summary of Legislation 
The bill authorizes History Colorado to sell three properties in Central City, Denver, and Pueblo.  The 
sales are subject to approval by the Capital Development Committee and the State Controller.  The 
proceeds of any sale are credited to the State Museum Cash Fund to be used for a consolidated 
collections care facility or for controlled maintenance expenditures for existing collections care and 
storage facilities. 
State Revenue 
The disposition of real property, assumed to take place in FY 2023-24, will increase revenue to the 
State Museum Cash Fund.  This revenue depends on future terms of sale and has not been estimated. 
State Expenditures 
The approval of any sales will minimally increase workload in the Legislative Department and the 
Department of Personnel and Administration.  No change in appropriations is required. 
 
Any expenditure from the State Museum Cash Fund for the purposes allowed by the bill will be 
addressed through the annual budget process.   Page 2

Effective Date 
The bill takes effect upon signature of the Governor, or upon becoming law without his signature.
