It minimally increases state workload in FY 2024-25 and minimally decreases state workload on an ongoing basis. Appropriation Summary: No appropriation is required. Fiscal Note Status: The fiscal note reflects the introduced bill. Summary of Legislation The bill modifies statutory reporting requirements for several state agencies (see State and Local Government Contacts section) by eliminating certain reports, changing where certain reports must be posted, consolidating certain reports, updating certain report schedules, decreasing the frequency of certain reports, and changing the scope of certain reports. State Expenditures The bill minimally increases state workload for affected agencies in FY 2024-25 to update reporting processes and consolidate certain reports. The bill minimally decreases state workload on an ongoing basis by reducing or eliminating data collection and analysis for mandated reports. No change in appropriations is required. Effective Date The bill takes effect 90 days following adjournment of the General Assembly sine die, assuming no referendum petition is filed.
