The bill will increase workload in FY 2024-25 only. Appropriation Summary: No appropriation is required. Fiscal Note Status: The fiscal note reflects the introduced bill. Summary of Legislation The bill adds four members to the America 250 – Colorado 150 commission, to be appointed by the Governor. Appointments must be made within thirty days after the effective date of the bill. The bill also directs History Colorado and the commission to transmit any money received from gifts, grants and donation to the state treasurer to be credited to the America 250 – Colorado 150 Cash Fund, which is established in House Bill 24-1209. State Expenditures Workload will minimally increase for the Governor’s Office of Boards and Commissions to make the required appointments under the bill. This work can be accomplished within existing appropriations. Effective Date The bill takes effect upon signature of the Governor, or upon becoming law without his signature.
