It increases state revenue and minimally increases state workload in FY 2024-25. Appropriation Summary: No appropriation is required. Fiscal Note Status: The final fiscal note reflects the enacted bill. Summary of Legislation The bill authorizes History Colorado to sell a storage facility in Denver. The sale is subject to approval by the Capital Development Committee and the State Controller. The proceeds of any sale are credited to the State Museum Cash Fund to be used for a new storage facility or for controlled maintenance expenditures. State Revenue The disposition of real property, assumed to take place in FY 2024-25, will increase revenue to the State Museum Cash Fund. This revenue depends on future terms of sale and has not been estimated. State Expenditures The approval of any sales will minimally increase workload in the Legislative Department and the Department of Personnel and Administration. No change in appropriations is required. Any expenditure from the State Museum Cash Fund for the purposes allowed by the bill will be addressed through the annual budget process.
