Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 40-2-115, add (1)(g)2
as follows:3
40-2-115. Cooperation with other states and with the United4
States - natural gas pipeline
safety and repair - customer-owned5
service line maintenance and repairs notice of responsibility - rules6
- definitions. (1) (g) O
N OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 1, 2025, THE7
COMMISSION SHALL ADOPT RULES RELATED TO PIPELINE SAFETY
AND8
REPAIR AND THE USE OF ADVANCED LEAK DETECTION TECHNOLOGY IN9
ACCORDANCE WITH SUBSECTION (1)(d)(II)(E) OF THIS SECTION.10
SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,11
determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate12
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for13
the support and maintenance of the departments of the state and state14
institutions.15
