Summary of Legislation 
The bill repeals obsolete references to the teacher residency expansion program which repealed 
in 2023, and makes conforming amendments preserving the definition of paraprofessional, 
allowing for the continued statutory definition of that term in other programs. 
Assessment of No Fiscal Impact 
The bill repeals obsolete language and makes conforming amendments without any substantive 
changes to existing state programs. For this reason, the bill is assessed as having no fiscal 
impact on state or local governments. 
Effective Date 
The bill takes effect 90 days following adjournment of the General Assembly sine die, assuming 
no referendum petition is filed.
